Prof. Mrs. Lida Antony , Vice Principal ,DM WIMS Nursing College, had done her graduation from SRM University and Post-Graduation in Psychiatric Nursing from JKK Sampooraniammal College of Nursing under Dr. MGR Medical University Chennai. She has begun her career as Lecturer in Pushpagiri College of Nursing Thiruvaslla. She has held following posts at the institutional level, as Asst. Professor in Pushpagiri College of Nursing, Thiruvilla, Asso. Professor in Oxford College of Nursing, Bangalore and Asso. Professor and HOD of Psychiatric Nursing Department in St. John’s Nursing College, St. John’s National Academy of Health Science Bangalore. She took part in the establishment of MSc and Post Basic nursing courses in various College of Nursing. Prof. Mrs. Lida Antony has a vast experience over a decade in teaching. She has been an under graduate and post graduate teacher and examiner, chairperson and question paper setter in many universities in India. She was a research guide for under graduate & Post Graduate students. She is a member of several professional organizations. She has attended and presented papers in international, national and state level conferences. She was instrumental in organizing many conferences, workshops, continuing nursing education program and school health programs.
